How to Bridge your Assets over from Ethereum to zkSync and Arbitrum

Some exchanges, such as Binance or Coinbase, allow direct withdrawals to the Arbitrum network. In such cases, it is more convenient to withdraw assets directly from the exchange.

The Link below will direct you to the Blockchain bridges. You will be able to bridge your assets in the Ethereum blockchain to zkSync or Arbitrum.

  1. Have your Metamask Wallet ready.

If you do not have a Metamast Wallet, please follow the following instructions.

  1. Open your Chrome Window.

  2. Click on LINK and add Metamask to your Chrome by pressing "Add Extension".

  1. Create Wallet by following the instructions provided by Metamask.

  2. Keep your password safe. (DO NOT POST THEM ONLINE)

  3. After you have created your account press the copy address button. Press where the red circle indicates.

  1. You can now paste your address using the keyboard shortcut "cmd + v" if you are using a Mac, or "control + v" if you are using a Windows computer.

  2. This address is your wallet and not your password; You will use this to recieve funds from other people.

  1. Add funds to your Metamask Wallet.

Instructions to adding funds to your wallet from a Centralized Exchange(Binance or Coinbase).

  1. Go to your wallet page.

  2. Choose an asset you wish to add to your smart wallet.

  3. Click "Withdraw". (It would be best to choose USDC if you are trying to use Gambit!)

  1. Enter your Metamask ETH Public address. (This is the address you copied in step one of "Have your Metamask Wallet ready")

  2. Select Network and choose ETH(Ethereum ERC20).

  1. Double check your Wallet address.

  2. Press "SEND"

  1. Bridge your Assets over to zkSync Era | Arbitrum Blockchain.

To Arbitrum:

  1. Connect to the Arbitrum Bridge.

  2. Connect your Smart wallet.

  1. Choose Asset you wish to transfer to the Arbitrum Wallet. (Preferably USDC!)

  1. Enter how many tokens you wish to transfer.

  2. Press "Deposit".

  3. It might take up to 5 minutes to get your assets on the Arbitrum blockchain.

To zkSync Era:

Instructions to Bridging your assets to zkSync Era blockchain.

  1. Connect to the zkSync Era Portal.

  2. Connect your Metamask wallet.

  1. Choose Asset you wish to transfer to the zkSync Wallet. (Preferably USDC!)

  1. Enter how many tokens you wish to transfer.

  2. Press "Deposit".

  3. It might take up to 5 minutes to get your assets on the zkSync blockchain.

  1. Connect your Wallet to Gambit

Instructions on how to connect your wallet.

  1. Open Gambit Exchange.

  2. Click on "Connect Wallet" on the top right screen.

  1. Select your wallet type; the wallet created above is Metamask.

  1. Accept to connect wallet given by your wallet popup.
