We're thrilled to announce a significant update to the Gambit platform, as outlined in our New Year roadmap. Here's what's new:
Starting today, you can access Gambit using various social logins, including Google, Apple, Facebook, and more. Upon utilizing social login, a new wallet will be automatically created for you. Simply transfer USDC from an external exchange or your existing wallet to your new Gambit wallet to get started with trading. We'll also be adding a Fiat to USDC convert feature soon.
Don't worry; traditional wallet connections like Metamask and WalletConnect are still available. Choose the most convenient option for your trading needs.
For positions of $3,000 (or $20,000 for forex), the network gas fee is now waived. For positions under $3,000, you no longer need to prepare ETH in your wallet for gas fees. All gas fees on Gambit will now be payable in USDC only. Trading just got a whole lot easier.
If you log in using Social Login, you'll no longer need to approve every transaction. Simply click the [Trade] button to open a position and the [X] button to close it. Transactions are instant, offering an almost CEX level of usability on a DEX.
For traditional wallet users, you'll continue to sign each transaction, but the process has been improved. Gas fees can now be paid with USDC, and we've introduced ERC-712 (Readable Transaction Signing) for clearer approval processes.
Your open positions will now immediately appear on the chart. You have the option to display or hide your positions on the chart, and once you close a position, it will automatically disappear from the view. This feature allows for a more integrated and convenient trading experience.
We hope you enjoy these enhancements to your trading experience on Gambit. Keep trading smart and easily with these latest updates!
Warm regards, The Gambit Team
Greetings Gambit Community,
We are thrilled to announce that Gambit has been updated to v1.2 today, following the launch of the Arbitrum mainnet two weeks ago. Let's take a look at what's new!
We have reduced the Opening Fee to 0%. Now, you can open positions without any cost. For reference, GMX has an Opening Fee of 0.1%, and GNS has 0.08%. Experience the most affordable futures trading in the industry.
We have also drastically reduced the Position Closing Fee to 0.04%, which is 50% lower than GNS's 0.08%. For BTC and ETH pairs, we have halved the trading Spread compared to GNS, significantly reducing trading costs. Lower fees mean increased margins, maximizing your returns.
(Crypto: $5,000 -> $500 | FX: $10,000 -> $5,000)
You can now open positions in Crypto pairs on Gambit starting from a minimum of $500, which is 1/15th of GNS's minimum of $7,500. (For Forex, Gambit starts from $5,000, while GNS starts from $50,000, a 1/10th difference!)
With a position size of $500, you can start with collateral as low as $50. If you've been frustrated with only being able to trade in large units in DeFi Perpetuals, now you can freely open smaller positions!
While you could always see the current price when trading on Gambit, it was difficult to intuitively know how much it had risen or fallen in the past 24 hours. We've added the price change over the past 24 hours for each Trading pair.
It was difficult to check the real-time price and price changes of other tokens or Forex while trading one token. We've added a ticker at the top that rolls the real-time prices and price changes of all tradable items on Gambit.
One of Gambit's unique strengths compared to other Perpetual DEXs is that it does not use a centralized proprietary Oracle, but a 100% fully decentralized oracle, PYTH. We've added a link to the real-time price of the corresponding Token pair on PYTH next to each Token's current price. Now you can always compare prices on both sides. Gambit, the most transparent futures exchange in the world, is another name for trust.
The token pair display order was somewhat jumbled, alternating between Crypto, FX, and Crypto again. We've rearranged this based on a consistent standard for easier selection.
In the ongoing Gambit trading competition event, rewards are given to the top 25 wallets in terms of trading volume and trading profit/loss (PnL). We've added the expected rewards for each wallet to the trading competition leaderboard.
Gambit is also preparing various marketing strategies to increase trading volume. Starting next week, a Gambit banner will be displayed on the main page of DappRadar, and YouTubers with 1-2 million subscribers worldwide will review Gambit. Become an early user and first mover of Gambit before they arrive!
The Gambit team will continue to strive to be a better Perp DEX. Thank you!
